PRUE SHERIDAN

Born 1947 in Porthcawl, Wales, of Scots-Canadian father, English-Russian Mother, the fifth of six children.Grew up in London.

1964-1967   Training in Classical Ballet, Theatre Arts, and Painting at the ARTS EDUCATIONAL SCHOOLS, London.

1968-1984   Solo dancer and Choreographer  with  International Ballet Caravan,  later known as  Alexander Roy London  Ballet Theatre. Touring internationaly in Great Britain, Western Europe and South East Asia, seasons in London and Paris.

1984-1990  Move to Germany. Solo dancer and Choreographer with the Ballett der Staedtische Buehnen in Osnabrueck.

1990-1992 Rehearsal director  at the Semper Oper  Dresden.

1992-1995 House Choreographer and Ballet mistress  for the  Landestheater Detmold.

1995- 2003  Freelance choreographer, Dance teacher, Clinic clown,  Regie assistant  in France and Germany.

2003- Painting becomes the main interest-

Rathaus Waldbronn, Haus des Kurgastes  Waldbronn, Werkstatt 11,Pforzheim,  Theater Pforzheim, Begegnungszentrum, Ettlingen, Maren’s Restaurant, Karlsruhe, Staedtischen Klinikum , Karlsruhe, Kulturhof Hutmacher , Dierbach, many atelier exhibitions.
